Off the Wall Rental Information

Drivers

1. All drivers must be between the ages of 25 and 70 years of age and have held a domestic driving license for at least 3 years.
2. All drivers must produce their license which must be unendorsed (except for speeding & parking offences) along with 2 other forms of identity, one of which must bare their signature and address, at the start of the hire.
3. Additional drivers, drivers with accidents or convictions or non - UK driving licence holders may have to pay an increased insurance premium.
4. All drivers must sign the insurance document and hire agreement form.

Insurance

Comprehensive insurance is included by Off the Wall but the hirer is liable for the first £750 for any damage to the vehicle internally (including fixtures & fittings), externally or third party property. The hirer will also be fully liable for replacement or repair of windows or tyre damage.

Security Deposit

A £750 security deposit is payable when the balance of your hire charge is due. This will be refunded by post if the vehicle is returned to the agreed location, on the agreed time, in the same condition it was let out to you, with the toilet empty, the interior reasonably clean and the tank full of diesel. Please be aware that the security deposit will be used to fund any loss or damage to the equipment including fixtures & fittings, windows, tyres, fuel or negligent damage to the vehicle.

Booking Deposit

A booking deposit of £150 per week is payable at the time of making the reservation. An invoice will be issued by post for the remaining balance - including security deposit. Settlement of the balance is required 6 weeks prior to departure. Payment can be by credit, debit card or cheque. For late bookings (less than 6 weeks before departure) the full rental price is payable on booking.

Collection & Return

Our Motorhomes are available for collection on Fridays from 1.00pm and must be returned by 10.00am on the Friday at the end of the hire period. Please allow 1 hour for the hand over to complete documentation and to demonstrate the vehicle. It is essential that the vehicle is returned on the date and by the time stated failure to do so will incur an additional charge of £100 per hour. Please also be aware that the Motorhome is only insured for the contract period therefore driving the vehicle outside the contract period may result in a road traffic offence. Off the Wall will charge a separate toilet cleaning fee of £50 if the toilet waste tank is not empty on return.

Diesel, Oil & Punctures

The Motorhome is provided with a full tank of diesel and must be returned with a full tank. The hirer is responsible for carrying out daily checks on all oil, water levels and tyre pressures.

Breakdowns

In the unlikely event of a breakdown, the hirer can call Green Flag quoting the registration number of the vehicle. Hirers are only authorized to request repairs up to the value of £50 they will then be reimbursed upon production of relevant receipts. Off the Wall's approval must be obtained in respect of repairs / replacements in excess of £50.00. Off the Wall are not responsible for hotel, any other consequential loss or expenses subsequent to a breakdown, but will refund the hire charge of any full day's complete loss of use of the vehicle. Our vehicles are all less than 2 years old and every effort is made to ensure that all vehicles are in a safe and roadworthy condition before they leave the company's premises, but the company shall be under no liability for third party claims or damages in connection with, or consequence to any breakdown or accident. In the event of an accident involving the company vehicle, a complete accident report must be made out and handed to the company at the time of termination of the hire. Any accidents or damage must be reported to the company. In the event of an accident, please make sure you obtain all names and addresses and vehicle information of all third parties and their insurance company details. Also any witnesses details if applicable. A sketch of the accident may be helpful. Do not admit liability.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be in writing.
More than 6 weeks before - Booking Deposit
6 - 2 weeks - 50% of total hire charge
2 - no show - 100% of total hire charge

Off the Wall reserves the right to cancel the hire if, at the time of collection the drivers licenses are invalid or not in accordance with the conditions set out. In these circumstances the total hire charge will be forfeited.

Availability

While every effort is made to ensure that the vehicle reserved is available, if due to circumstances beyond our control, the reserved vehicle is not available, Off the Wall reserves the right to offer a suitable alternative. If this is not acceptable, the liability of Off the Wall will be limited to the return of any monies paid by the hirer, and the hirer shall have no further claims against Off the Wall.

Smoking & Pets

Smoking and pets are not permitted in company vehicles and any infringement of this condition may result in loss of part of the security deposit. For the benefit of other users, your co-operation is most appreciated.

Fines

Any and all fines incurred by the hirer for the infringement of traffic laws or regulations shall be paid in full by the hirer, who indemnifies Off the Wall from any liability in such circumstances.

Car Parking

Car Parking is available at our store. All cars are left at the owners own risk and keys must be left with us.
